She Strides Run Club – Maidenhead is a female-only run club where every pace, every story, and every mile is cheered on. It meets every Monday at 6:45 pm in and around Maidenhead, offering a 3 km newbie run and a 5 km social loop that’s chatty, supportive, and confidence-boosting.
Maidenhead itself is a brilliant place to run, with flat riverside paths along the Thames, leafy towpaths, and calm neighbourhood routes that make every mile feel relaxed, scenic and easy to enjoy.
Whether you’re taking your first running steps or returning after a break, Maidenhead’s She Strides crew has you covered. They host a weekly newbie run with different pacing groups to help you run at a pace that suits you. Expect good vibes and lots of smiling faces cheering every step. Friendship first, training second.
The club doesn’t stop at Mondays. Once a month, the Presto Run gets Sunday morning moving: choose a 4km or 8km route starting and finishing outside Presto in Waterside Quarter, then refuel with pizza and post-run story swapping with fellow Striders. There are also track nights (usually one Thursday a month), workshops, coffee meet-ups, and periodic social events that knit the group together beyond the run. Running together can be double the fun.
