ALTUS Running Club: Hull Miles, Built on Belonging

Effortlessly cool, ALTUS Running Club is a culture-led run community rooted in Hull, built on the simple idea that running feels better when it’s shared. Shaped by local streets, music, and real connection, ALTUS brings people together through movement – without pressure, ego, or expectation. Belonging over benchmarks.

It’s fair to say they’ve single-handedly put Hull on my running culture roadmap.

With a seasonal schedule, a typical week is anything but. Expect collabs, fundraisers and ad hoc shakeouts alongside their standard sessions, which usually consist of:

• Track Tuesdays at Costello Stadium. Open, welcoming sessions. Where speed is built and confidence grows.

• Social Run Sundays. Easy miles around the avenues and Hulls best parks. Often followed by coffee.

Times and locations vary, shared on the ALTUS social channels – always check ahead before heading down.
