The Up & Running York Social Run Group (SRG) is all about making running inclusive, fun, and social.
If you’ve seen a large run group striding through York’s streets, while chatting and laughing, you’ve found this tribe.
Every Monday at 6pm, runners of all levels gather outside the Up & Running store in York for a steady 5K through the city.
Led by a run leader with a back runner to support the group, no one is ever left behind, and faster runners loop back so everyone finishes together. It’s a free, welcoming way to add consistency to your week, meet like-minded people, and enjoy running without pressure. A big bonus of this run club being associated to a running store is there’s regular collabs with brands, presenting an opportunity to try the latest run kit before anybody else.
